1516 - no decisive year in the political history of Germany. But the Bavarian duke Wilhelm IV. issued a regulation of food in this year which is still of greatest importance for the brewing economy: the "German Purity Law". Of course the Fresh VELTINS, too, is brewed according to those strict regulations!
	The "German Purity Law" says that exclusively hops, malt, yeast and water are to be brought together by the brewing masters to a beer of highest quality. Even if it is an important measure of excellent quality, beer experts all around the world owe the pleasure of the Fresh VELTINS above all to the skills of the brew masters and the application of modern technology. Thus, tradition and hightech form a successful synthesis which guarantees a good taste and constant quality.
